8th Street Marketplace and Old Boise (a historic shopping district) -- all offering
numerous excellent restaurants, shops and theatres. St. Luke's Regional Medical Center is
only a block away. The Inn is also less than a mile from the Boise State University
campus, located adjacent to Boise's beautiful Greenbelt on the sparkling Boise River where
wild geese and ducks make their home year 'round. Skiers delight in the excellent facilities found at Bogus Basin Ski Area, a mere 19 miles from the Inn, in tree-covered mountains overlooking Boise. Ski coach service or special day trips are available. The famous Sun Valley ski area is an easy 3-hour drive to the east. Boise boasts easy access to surrounding mountain ranges, with abundant trout fishing, quaint old mining towns and unsurpassed camping and hiking opportunities -- all close enough for day trips.
